Progress Personal Training owners Shayne and Kate Cahill is proud to bring you a team of personal trainers that live fitness. Our team doesn’t follow the “Do what I say, not what I do” approach. Our team sets a standard to follow.

The standards are evident in their own personal accomplishments. None of the team here are progress entered into a fitness career looking to make a living, they all started their fitness careers because their lives were changed thru fitness.

Shirley Madera has lost over 143lbs. In 2005 Shirley weighed almost 260lbs, on October 18, 2008 she weighed in at 116lbs for her first women’s bodybuilding show. Look at the pictures on her page for her amazing transformation. Shirley has learned through experience what it takes to create a healthier, happier, new you. She has now dedicated her life to helping others complete their journey in fitness.


Ken Collins is an amazing story. Ken once weighed 320lbs. On October 18, 2008 he achieved a once distant dream and competed in his first bodybuilding show weighing in at 183 lbs. That is not a typo a weight loss of over 137 lbs. I say over 137 lbs. because Ken gained a great deal of muscle while losing all the body-fat as evidenced by his pictures. We can only estimate that his body-fat loss is in excess of 175 lbs. You will find it very difficult to find an excuse with Ken, he has overcome them all.

Karen Taylor Picked up her first set of weights at the age of 10 on a bet from her brother that she couldn't lift it over her head. She instantly fell in love with working out!  29 years later she has helped 100s of clients meet their personal fitness goals!

Dr. Christopher LaRocca hails from Spring Hill, Fl where he has lived in the area his entire life. Dr. LaRocca was a 1998 graduate of F.W. Springstead High school, 2003 graduate of The Florida State University and a 2008 graduate of Palmer of Florida Chiropractic College. While at Florida State, Dr. LaRocca pursued a degree in Exercise Science emphasizing in Fitness and Nutrition.





All of the personal trainers that work for progress have an amazing story. This helps to create great trainers. They know where you are, and know how to get you where you want to be. Let’s face it we don’t want someone that can’t understand what we are going thru to tell us just to get it done. It always helps to hear from someone that has been there that you can do it too
